Getting started with PAYware Mobile is easy, and PaymentMax offers two options for pricing to suit your business practices.
For businesses that are committed to processing mobile transactions, PaymentMax offers a contracted service. If your business is providing mobile processing and you know you are ready to save by making card present transactions, the contracted service will fit your business. The agreement is for two years of service, and your business receives the Card Encryption Sleeve (hardware) as well as the downloadable application (software). There is a $295.00 early termination fee should you elect to stop service before the two year period is over. The set up fee for contracted service is $49.00.
Businesses that prefer to work without a contracted agreement can pay the set up fee of $49.00, and download the software application for free. The Card Encryption Sleeve must then be purchased, at a cost of $149.00 on this plan. This option is suited to businesses that are less sure of the volume of mobile transactions they wish to process, or how long they wish to offer clients this option. The up front cost is slightly higher due to the purchase price of the Sleeve, but there is no fee should the service be cancelled at any time.
With either plan, the Payment Gateway service for PAYware is $20.00 each month, plus a .20 fee for each transaction processed. The Payment Max Merchant Services Account features a Qualified Credit Card rate of 1.69%, and a Qualified Check Card rate of 1.39%. There is a .10 fee per transaction, and a customer support fee of $7.95 per month. There is no set up fee for the Merchant Account, which includes American Express and Discover Card set up. There are also no fees for Address Verification Service (AVS) or Batch Headers. Chargebacks are at a rate of $25.00 per transaction. There is a monthly minimum discount of $25.00
